• Our partner's largest technology organization within the organization delivering complex IT solutions to support trading and related financial activities. These include high-performing, low-latency globally distributed applications, grid-based self-managing calculation plants and complex analytical tools, as well as critical trading platforms processing millions of transactions daily. Our partner create's these in many programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Scala, Python, and Perl, using various SQL and NoSQL databases, utilizing state-of-the art open source frameworks and deploying commonly used software products of well-known IT vendors. The company selects their tools and development methodology based on our business requirements to make sure the product they deliver matches the high standards they set for ourselves. Our teams mostly use agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and eXtreme programming, which fit to their needs the best.

Responsibilities:

• Talking to end-users, business analysts and product owners around the globe to gather or clarify requirements
• Designing and implementing software components of different sizes
• Defining test cases and implementing unit or behavioral tests
• Participating in high level design discussions, design reviews and peer code reviews
• Working with production support teams and users to resolve escalated cases

Requirements:

• Advanced fundamental technology skills
• Strong knowledge of standard JavaScript
• Previous experience in Unix/Linux
• Experience in basic SQL
• Experience in software development methodologies
• Experience in some scripting language (i.e. Perl, Python)
