We are looking for talented IT expert on behalf of our multinational partner company to fulfill the following position:
Fixed-line Network Engineer:
Responsible for the planning, delivery and operational performance of the fixed network. Accountable for all Fixed Network components (BNGs, DSLAMs, OLTs, Internet Routers, AAA Servers etc.,) to enable the company’s startegy and responding to local market demand.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Detailed design and operation of fixed network Architectures
- Dimensioning of network elements and capacity planning for fixed network
- Provide detailed plan & priorities for CAPEX & OPEX budget planning
- Serve and coordinate local network demand fulfilment in close alignment with Technology and other Business Unit stakeholders, as well as considering Enterprise customer needs
- Supplier & partner management for Fixed Network domain
- Drive End-to-End Fixed network performance KPIs for a great customer experience
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
- Ensure Technology Health & Safety directives are followed by internal and external staff
- Eligible to raise orders in line with the actual policy
- Eligible to approve contracts in line with actual policy
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Degree qualified in an Engineering or a Science discipline
- Experienced telecommunication expert in design and operation of fixed networks
- Significant experience of network planning and services development activities on multi-vendor environments
- Deep understanding of GPON, FTTx & xDSL technologies, Routing & Switching protocols, BNGs, AAA and TR69 Protocols
- Focused on timely delivery of results
- Highly motivated, customer oriented individual with a strategic insight on business needs
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and verbal English knowledge
